The Knowledge
All participants in the BWFC camp will receive training based on Bolton Wanderers' values, which have been formed over the course of our 147 year history, making us one of the oldest clubs in the world.
The players will take part in training sessions which follow the Bolton methodology and will help them to improve the technical and tactical aspects of their games.
We have a strict 12:1 Player to Coach ratio to ensure every player receives close instruction. Our 6 hour full days ensure that we maximise our time together.
The Wanderers experience
All players will be carefully assessed by our Academy coaches. Players that we demonstrate an elite level of technical and tactical acumen, we will invite to attend and stay with our academy in Lostock, Lancashire.
They will train under academy coaches in smaller groups, play vs. our Academy teams, watch the 1st Team train, attend a live Bolton game at the 30,000 capacity Toughsheet Stadium, and experience what life is like for a professional player.
I won the Premier League with Chelsea, Serie A with Juventus, and the Champions League with Real Madrid, but there is no doubt that the best football I played in my career was at Bolton
